Antallet strømkunder som produserer og selger strøm stiger jevnt
Ved utgangen av 2. kvartal økte antallet plusskunder med 11 prosent. Det viser oppdaterte tall fra Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME). Statistikken er utvidet med nye data som viser hvilke teknologityper plusskundene bruker.

Færre byttet strømleverandør i andre kvartal 2021
I andre kvartal 2021 ble det gjennomført 123 000 bytter av strømleverandør, en nedgang på 7 prosent fra samme kvartal i fjor. Oppdaterte tall for sluttbrukermarkedet viser den laveste bytteaktiviteten uansett kvartal siden oppstarten av Elhub i mars 2019.

RME foreslår ny og utvidet ordning for deling av lokal strømproduksjon
Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) foreslår å etablere en ny ordning for deling av egenprodusert fornybar strøm. Forslaget er utarbeidet på oppdrag fra Olje- og energidepartementet og omfatter beboere i flermannsboliger, leilighetskomplekser og næringsbygg. Den øvre grensen for ordningen foreslås satt til 500 kW installert effekt innenfor en eiendom.

I et brev til Olje- og energidepartementet legger Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) frem åtte tiltak som skal gjøre strømmarkedet enklere og mer oversiktlig for strømkunden.

50% ønsker bedre muligheter for prissikring i kraftmarkedet
I en undersøkelse blant markedsaktører i kraftmarkedet mener 50 prosent at det er utilstrekkelige prissikringsmuligheter i kraftmarkedet. Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) skal vurdere effektiviteten av prissikringsmulighetene og ønsker innspill fra bransjen i dette arbeidet.

Lav eksportkapasitet, fulle magasiner og lave priser preget driften av kraftsystemet i 2020
Strømnettet i 2020 var preget av høye magasinfyllinger gjennom hele året og lavere tilgjengelig handelskapasitet enn normalt. Flaskehalsinntektene endte på 2 408 MNOK i 2020, og systemansvarligs kostnader ble noe redusert i 2020 sammenliknet med året før. Varsel om vedtak: konsesjon til Nord Pool for å drifte handelsløsning for NSL – utenlandskabelen til Storbritannia

Antall strømkunder som produserer egen strøm er tredoblet de siste to årene
Ved utgangen av 1. kvartal 2021 var det registrert 7007 plusskunder i Norge. Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) publiserer for første gang statistikk over plusskunder i Norge.

Rekordmange byttet strømleverandør første kvartal 2021
Det ble gjennomført over 200 000 bytter av strømleverandør 1. kvartal 2021. Aldri før har det blitt gjennomført flere bytter i løpet av et kvartal. Den svake trenden med reduserte markedsandeler for den største kraftleverandøren i hvert nettområde fortsetter. RME legger frem statistikk over strømbrudd i 2020 (Avbruddsstatistikk)
I 2020 var leveringspåliteligheten på 99,985 prosent. Det vil si at 0,015 % av den elektriske energien ikke nådde frem til strømkunden på grunn av feil eller utkoblinger. Det viser avbruddsstatistikken fra Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME).

Høring: Innføring av én pris og én regulerkraftbalanse i regulerkraftavregningen

Nå kan feilrapportering til strømpris.no gi overtredelsesgebyr
Alle strømleverandører har en plikt til å rapportere inn informasjon til Forbrukerrådets strømprisportal, men flere strømleverandører melder inn feil informasjon om avtalene. Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) vil begynne å vurdere overtredelsesgebyr i alle saker om mangelfull rapportering.

Sluttbrukermarkedsstatistikk for 4. kvartal og året 2020

Beskjeden økning i nettleien fra 2020 til 2021
For en husholdning med et strømforbruk på 20 000 kWh/år, økte kostnadene til nettleie med 0,09 prosent fra januar 2020 til januar 2021. Det er Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) som bestemmer hvor store inntekter nettselskapene kan ha.

Lav kraftpris medfører lavere inntektsrammer for 2020
Nettselskapenes inntektsramme for 2020 ble 2,9 milliarder kroner lavere enn hva Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) tidligere har varslet. Det er de lave kraftprisene i 2020 som er hovedårsaken til nedgangen.

Solcellers påvirkning på strømnettet
Kapasiteten i strømnettet generelt vil klare en økning i strømkunder med solcelleanlegg, som vil levere strøm tilbake i nettet. Høring: Handelsløsning for North Sea Link og utvidet markedsplasskonsesjon for Nord Pool EMCO
Statnett har informert RME om hvilken handelsløsning som er planlagt på North Sea Link (NSL) fra oppstart av forbindelsen. RME har videre mottatt søknad fra Nord Pool European Market Coupling Operator AS (NP EMCO) om markedsplasskonsesjon for organisering av en ny døgnmarkedsauksjon i budområdet NO2, med markedskobling til Storbritannia (GB) over forbindelsen NSL.

Vil vurdere moglege tiltak for auka måling av veglysanlegg
Ein ny utgreiing konkluderar med at AMS-måling bør nyttast i nye veglysanlegg, men primært også i eksisterande umålte anlegg, viss dette ikkje medfører uforholdsmessig store investeringar. Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi i NVE (RME) vil, med bakgrunn i mellom anna utgreiinga, vurdere moglege tiltak for auka måling av veglysanlegg.

Korona betyr lite for aktiviteten til nettselskapene
I en spørreundersøkelse fra RME svarer 86 prosent av nettselskapene at koronapandemien har hatt liten betydning på deres investeringer og vedlikehold av nettet i 2020. Når det gjelder planene for 2021 svarer 87 prosent at pandemien har hatt liten betydning for investeringsplanene, og 94 prosent sier at den har hatt liten betydning for planlagt vedlikehold.

Ny rapport analyserer om reguleringsmodellen kan bli mer nøytral ved å endre kalibreringen av kostnadsnormene
Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi (RME) publiserer i dag en rapport som undersøker de økonomiske insentivene strømnettselskapene har til å gjøre investeringer i forhold til driftstiltak. Strømnettselskaper er monopoler og RME regulerer nettselskapenes inntekter. Formålet er at å bidra til effektiv drift, utvikling og utnyttelse av nettet.
