Revenue cap calculation in R
We use R for calculating revenue caps for the Norwegian electricity DSO's. Since R is an open source software, it is possible for anyone to investigate each line of code in our revenue cap calculation.
Whenever we calculate revenue caps, we make sure to publish a copy of the newest script on our web page. You can see the different R-scripts by choosing a revenue cap year from this web page: Revenue caps. Unfortunatley, the pages are in Norwegian, but as you scroll down you will be able to download a zip-file ("IRiR") from the menu on your right hand side which contains the script.
Please refer to the document "IRiR Guidelines" for more information about the script.
In order to run the script, you must install R. We also recommend using RStudio, which makes it easier to use and develop the code.
