Visit from energy regulator associations for eastern and southern Africa to NVE
A delegation of 13 representatives from REARSEA, the Regional Energy Regulator Associations for Eastern and Southern Africa, visited NVE on Monday 28th of March, accompanied by their host in Norway, Nord Pool Consulting, and representatives from Norad.
During the visit to NVE the delegation was presented with an overview of the development of the Norwegian power sector, it’s institutional framework and Norway’s key energy legislation. Aspects of the current power market regulation and the energy system cooperation between Norway and Europe were also touched upon. It was a pleasure for NVE to host the delegation from REARSEA, especially seeing how motivational physical interaction is after 2 years of virtual meetings and conferences.
