Venue and practical information

Practical information:

The meeting will take place 27 – 29 October 2011 in Oslo. On Thursday and Friday the meeting will be held at NHO and NVE , respectively Essendropsgate 3 and Middelthunsgate 29. Saturday the meeting will continue at the University of Oslo.

NOTE: All participants must bring ID (e.g. passport) to enter the NVE-building.

There will be a registration fee of 200 NOK for attending the meeting (covering refreshments, lunches, Ice breaker and book of abstract). NVE will host an Ice breaker Thursday (incl. pizza). On Friday evening there will be arranged a dinner with a cost of 200 NOK per person. The price covers dinner and drinks. Registration can be made by email to Heidi Helena Pikkarainen (hhpi@nve.no).

Cash payment for registration fee and the optional dinner should be made at the registration desk on Thursday.

Venue:

NVE located directly adjacent to Frogner Park, and can be reached by all west bound metro lines, and tram 12 or 19 to “Majorstuen”. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from metro/tram to NVE and NHO.  Use the map to zoom in.

The University of Oslo is located at Blindern. Take the west bound metro lines 3, 4 and 5 or tram 18 and 19 to "Blindern". Follow the red path to the geology building.
