Equal power price in Norway an Sweden in week 8.
Average power price was approximately 0.25 NOK/kWh in Norway and Sweden in week 8. The prices in the southern Norwegian elspot areas were equal in all the hours.
In week 7, there were price differences between these areas in peak-load hours.
As the week before, there were still no differences in the power prices in Middle- and Northern Norway. In these areas, prices were equal to the prices in the northern elspot areas in Sweden in week 8.
Decrease in power demand, mostly caused by higher temperatures, contributed to fewer bottlenecks in the transmission system. This contributed to equal the power prices in Norway and Sweden.
