Decreased power generation in Norway. The power generation in Norway decreased by 235 GWh to 3141 GWh last week. The decrease was biggest in Southeast Norway.
In relative terms the decrease was almost as big in Mid Norway. Decreased generation in Southeast Norway can be seen in connection with dry and cold weather, and snow and water reservoir levels below normal. The decrease in Mid Norway was also influenced by increased import from Sweden.
The weekly average price in Southeast Norway increased by 3.3 øre to 51.0 øre/kWh last week. Lower generation contributed to the increase. In Soutwest Norway the price increased by 2.0 øre to 40.1 øre/kWh. Lower consumption in Sweden and Finland contributed to a price decrease in Mid and North Norway by 2.9 øre to 51.7 øre/kWh.
