Lower Norwegian net exports.
During the past few weeks the Norwegian net export of electricity has decreased. In week 49 the Norwegian net export was 206 GWh. That is 148 GWh lower than the previous week. Increased power consumption in East Norway by nearly 19 percent contributed to the reduction.
The reservoir levels in Norway are high. The inflow was above the normal level, but was lower in week 49 than the week before. Norway was a net importer at night, as a result of the Norwegian hydro power producers producing less at night.
