Increased power prices in Norway. Last week, the weekly average spot price increased with 7 percent to 34.1 øre/kWh in the three southernmost price areas of Norway. In Mid and North Norway, the price increased with 19 percent to 34.5 øre/kWh.
An important reason for the price increase is the fact that the hourly prices during the nights did not fall as much in week 32 as in week 31.
The average reservoir level was 65.3 percent at the end of week 32, an increase of 1.4 percentage points from the week before. The reservoir level is 19.2 percentage points below the median for the week and 12.5 percentage points below last year’s level.
