Low reservoir filling in Mid Norway. In week 3, the weather was a bit milder than in the previous week in large parts of the Nordic area. In total, the consumption therefore reduced, relieving the pressure on the wholesale prices.
Still, it is cold and high power consumption. At the same time there has been very little precipitation so far this year, 1.6 TWh compared with an average of 9.1 TWh.
The reservoir filling for Norway at the end of week 3 was 54.4 percent, 10.7 percentage points below average. Mid Norway had a reservoir filling of 41.4 percent, which is a decline of 3.7 percentage points from the previous week. It is also 3.2 percentage points below lowest level at the same time in the period 2002-2009.
