Institutional cooperation between the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) and the Ethiopian Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR) for the development of Ethiopian hydropower is bearing fruit. A NVE delegation recently visited Addis Ababa to conduct a Capacity Building workshop with MoWR.
A delegation of four came from Norway; David Alan Wright, Project Director of NVE International Section, Sverre Husebye, Section Manager or Section for Water Balance Hydrology Department, Zelalem Mingustu and Demissew Kebede Ejigu, the two latter Ethiopians working for NVE in Oslo.
