Data in this folder concerning the electricity supply for 2007 and earlier years, are all taken from Norwegian Official Statistics (Electricity Statistics). Information about individual power stations and reservoirs is obtained directly by the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate.
The figures for 2008 are based on preliminary data from Statistics Norway and other sources, and must be regarded as approximate values. The table on oil and gas resources is based on information from the Directorate of Petroleum.Statistics Norway is also the source for the tables giving district heating, production of important forms of energy, domestic deliveries of petroleum products, final energy consumption and the energy balance.
