Transmission tariff statistics

About
Statistics on transmission tariffs in the regional grid and the distribution network
The objective of these statistics is to give a picture of the transmission tariffs that typical customers will face when connecting to different networks. The statistics also show how the tariffs develop in time.

Transmission tariffs are formed by several components, such as a fixed component, a load component and an energy component. To make tariffs from different network companies comparable, the components are recalculated into a common tariff in øre/kWh or NOK/kW, called estimated price (tariff).

In this recalculation conditions have been made about customer groups and the average customer's out-take of energy and load. Such recalculation does neither give a precise picture of the networks' total transmission tariff charge, nor the exact (official) transmission tariff for the current network company. Therefore the statistics are not unconditionally suitable for such analyses.

The statistics show transmission tariffs on each network level. They only contain tariffs for prioritised transmission.

NVE has not verified the network companies' tariff calculations and does not ascertain that they are calculated in accordance with current regulations.
To know the exact transmission tariff, with fees and conditions for power transmission, customers must contact their network company.
